- Hartley Williams
Hartley Williams is a Noongar man who comes from the southern region of Western Australia. Hartley commenced his training with the National Aboriginal Islander Skills Development Association College (N.A.I.S.D.A), completing a Certificate in Dance in 1993. Hartley has studied at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (W.A.A.P.A) and the London Contemporary Dance School.
Hartley Williams is an all round dancer who has sound knowledge in all styles of dance, Traditional Mainland, Contemporary and Torres Strait Islander.
To assist in his studies, Hartley also traveled to remote Indigenous Communities, including Ernabella (Central Australia), the Torres Strait Islands (North of Queensland Australia) and Lombadina (North of Western Australia).

*2004-2009 Descendance (Sydney/Australia): completing corporate work, International Conventions, Community Work, Festivals, Cruise Liners, Workshops, Galleries, Theatre, Museums, Political Events, and assignments for The Australian Government.
*2008 Tour of Sydney jails for NAIDOC week.
*2007 Performance at the 40th Anniversary of the Aboriginal Referendum Parliament House Canberra.
*2004-2005 Descendance at The Sydney Indigenous festival, Hartley contributes in the contemporary exotic fusion Flamenco Dreaming to high critical acclaim.
* 2005 Performing with Descendance at the Aboriginal Tourism Expo at the Sydney Opera House.
*2005 Descendance at the Dome Olympic Park – the nine performances were for Amway China. Hartley was part of a sensational 30 piece dance ensemble that performed at one of the biggest corporate events ever held in Australia.
* 2004 Quinkan Project, Hartley performed with FRESH Dance Company to deliver this innovative piece of contemporary work.
*2003 Hartley was nominated as Best Male Dancer at the Deadlys, an indigenous awards night, held at the Sydney Opera House each year.
*2002 Hartley traveled to Innsbruck in Austria with FRESH Dance Company for a three month period to perform at “Swarovski Crystal World” promoting Indigenous Australia thru Contemporary and Traditional styles of dance.
*2002 Sydney Dreaming the years biggest Indigenous production, set on Lake at Olympic Park Homebush, with a cast of over 100 performers, Hartley performed played a major role in the contemporary performance.
*2001-2003 Survival Concerts, Australia’s leading indigenous celebration concerts.
*1994 Hartley received a Queens Trust Award for outstanding achievements in the area of dance and Community Development.
*1993 Graduated with a Certificate in Dance at NAISDA College.
